Is the Treasure Hunters Battle Pass Worth It?
Yes if you want Portgas D. Ace or Nico Robin and you'll play enough to finish it. No if you only want Luffy, who isn't in the pass. Either way, you don't have to decide on day one.
You can play first
Epic says you still unlock the rewards for your current level when you buy the pass later. So play first, check the price and rewards in the Passes tab, and buy when you're sure. Just don't leave it until the final days, since Epic hasn't announced when the pass ends.
Buy it if
- You want Ace or Robin. They're the only One Piece characters in the pass, and Ace's set opens at Level 35.
- You like Buccaneer Brigand Jones, Kawaii Team Leader or Charlotte-Sensei, the new anime looks.
- You want Captain X and will do the weekly quests. GameRant says he needs the pass and 24 of them.
- You play most days, or you already have Crew, which includes the current pass.
Skip it if
- You mainly want Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Zoro, Sanji or Buggy. Epic lists them in the Shop.
- You're here for A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Kasane Teto or Cap'n Hatsune Miku. They're in the Shop too.
- You won't finish it. The 800 V-Bucks are spread across all five sets, with two in Ace's set, so stopping early leaves some unclaimed.

You still need the V-Bucks up front. Three bonus rewards are still hidden, so the total could change.
How much would you need to play?
This is our estimate, not Epic's. The 80,000 XP per level comes only from Fortnite Wiki, and Epic hasn't given an end date. Daily targets count from November 1 and ignore any level you already have. Level 62 is where bonus rewards start, and GameRant says Level 80 gets everything:

Epic's general advice is to do daily, weekly and character quests first. Any Fortnite experience earns pass XP.
Will these skins come back?
Maybe, but not soon. Epic's help page says pass items may reach the Shop at least 18 months after the pass expires. That isn't a promise.
